    This Pomade Works but…

    My hair is soft and peppered with gray. This pomade helps coil my hair and cover the gray although covering the gray is not the main reason that I purchase this pomade. I also like it because it’s long lasting. Beware there is a side effect. When I wash my hair, I have noticed a light purplish tinge in the gray areas of my hair. My barber noticed it first. I don’t know if other users have experienced what I have. Maybe the producers of this pomade could develop a companion shampoo that would thwart any potential hair discoloration. Just a suggestion for the suggestion box.

    Thanks for your feedback & letting us know of your experience.

    I contacted our lab team, and they let me know that the colorant in our Black Hair Pomade does not have the properties to fully dye hair but did let me know that dependent on the user's hair pH results may vary.

    As you mention you enjoy your salt and peppered hair, you can enjoy the same finish and hold from our other water based pomades. If you would like to try one out at no cost please let me know which you are interested in testing and we will send it over to you at no cost!
